SUMMARY:71st Rutherford Chamber of Commerce Holiday Parade
DESCRIPTION:This will be the 71st time (Since 1952) the Rutherford Chamber of Commerce Holiday Parade will kickoff the Rutherford holiday season. Last year was a great success and we plan on this year being even better. The Parade will begin with a kickoff celebration on Rutherford’s West-End\, near Blue Foundry Bank on Union Ave. The parade will travel up Union\, right on Chestnut\, left on Ames\, and right on Park Ave. Ending at the Rutherford Public Library and Holiday Tree. \nCONGRATULATIONS TO OUR 2023 GRAND MARSHAL “THE RUTHERFORD VOLUNTEER FIRST-AID AMBULANCE CORPS”. \nLike all of the years before\, Rutherford Chamber members can enter their business or nonprofit organization to march in the parade or decorate a vehicle to drive in the parade. Of course we will also have a best in show (best decorated\, etc) competition for businesses and nonprofit members. To march and to compete is simple. Just contact us at (rutherfordchamberofcommerce@gmail.com) – (Attention March In Parade) if you haven’t already registered. Parade entry deadline is November 15th. \n“ATTENTION MEMBERS WITH CHILDREN” Those of you with children have first dibbs this year to allow your child receive the special honor of riding the Trackless Train for the entire parade. The train can hold up to 14 children. Parents must walk along side with the train for the duration of the parade. This is a first come\, first serve offer.
